How Do You Feel About These Passages?

How do you feel about these passages?

Answer:

For me, these are the passages that provide the most valuable insight:

1. The Master said, "To demand much from oneself and little from others is the

way (for a ruler) to banish discontent."

2. The Master said, "In the presence of a good man, think all the time how you

may learn to equal him. In the presence of a bad man, turn your gaze within!"

3. The Master said, "A gentleman can see a question from all sides without bias.

The small man is biased and can see a question only from one side."

4. The Master said, "The good man does not grieve that other people do not

recognize his merits. His only anxiety is lest he should fail to recognize theirs."

5. The Master said, "He who rules by moral force is like the Pole star, which

remains in its place where all the lesser stars do homage to it."

Form these passages, I realized that it is vital to always be humble at all times. Being humble could mean that a person should be contented of what he has, and never envy others possession. Instead, learn to equal those good qualities that are seen in each person. In either way, bear in mind that there is always residing goodness in every person, we just have to look within. I agree with these because humans are created in Gods image and likeness,  therefore, the goodness of God is in us as well.
