How fast do different parts of the em spectrum travel in a vacuum?
Good Day....
Question:
how fast do different parts of the em spectrum travel in a vacuum?
Answer:
All electromagnetic wave will travel in a vacuum at a speed 3 × 10^8 m/s or
equivalent to 300,000,000 m/s we call this a speed of light.
Electromagnetic waves are, radio wave, microwave, infrared, visible light, ultraviolet radiation, x-ray, and gamma ray. Radio wave have the longest wavelength and have the lowest frequency and Gamma ray have the shortest wavelength but have the highest frequency.
Hope it helps....=)
