How Can You Possibly Prove That Gases Have Negilible Mass?
How can you possibly prove that gases have negilible mass?
Good Day....
Gases are made up of gas particles like oxygen, hydrogen, carbon dioxide, nitrogen etc. Each of this gas particles have mass. But because gas is much more lighter compared to solid and liquid, we find it difficult to gauge the mass of gas. We can use the device digital balance to compare the mass of a balloon with different volume. You will observe that the mass of a balloon with a bigger volume have a bigger mass.
In real life example:
Compare the weight of the LPG container filled with gas and the LPG container which is empty. You will observe, LPG container filled with gas is much more heavy compared to empty LPG container. This is because gas has mass making the LPG container heavy.
Hope it helps....=)
